Today’s Libraries – Share a Hobby, Discuss a Book, Learn a Language, Discover Your World!

April 12^th– 18^th, 2015 is designated as National Library Week by the American Library Association.  Started in 1958, it’s a time each year to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to support and promote all that libraries do in their communities throughout the year.

Libraries are more than just books in the year 2015.  They are places where the community connects for all different kinds of reasons.

For Graduates

It’s springtime and that means it won’t be long until high school seniors will be thinking about graduation.  That also means you’ll be hearing this question a lot.  “What are you going to do with your life?”  That was one of the most frightening and exciting questions I had been asked at the time.  It was full of possibilities and also felt a little constricting.
